Daiichi Sankyo UK (DSUK) and Ash Healthcare triumphed at the eighth annual PMEAs, held at the Dorchester Hotel in December.

Ash succeeded in achieving ‘finalist’ status at this year’s PMEA’s for a campaign it developed with DSUK, one of only a handful of PR companies recognised at the event.

DSUK people were ‘over the moon’ when it won Company of the Year (<£100m), after a rigorous selection process, including a visit to its offices by judges. The company was particularly commended for its innovative approach to marketing.

This year’s PMEA event raised the bar once again with a record number of entries from an even wider range of companies, large and small, and a record number of attendees at the event.

According to Mark Savage, director of PMGroup, which runs the awards: “Winning a PMEA is regarded as one of the highly prized accolades in pharmaceuticals and healthcare today.

The work honoured at the event is the best of the best and carries a huge responsibility. We could genuinely use all the work represented here to demonstrate the health benefits that our industry continues to provide for us all, whether we are consumers or patients.
